SRAG October 2017 Show Winners

Thank you to Debbie Barnett, publicist for the Salmon River Art Guild, for providing the following lists of winners at the SRAG 2017 Fall Regional Art Show in Riggins last weekend (Oct 7 & 8).

The Salmon River Art Guild’s Regional Fall Show, held Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 in Riggins, Idaho was a success.  The annual event brought in 108 entries and show winners from as far away as Boise and Anatone, WA.

Show judge Sharon Herther of Donnelly, ID, commented on the talent and excellence in this year’s entries.  She said that it was a difficult event to judge.

The Salmon River Art Guild has grown over the years and boasts nearly 70 members. More information on the Salmon River Art Guild, based in White Bird, ID, can be found at

The Best of Show honor went to Andy Sewell, Viola, ID,  for “Gold In The Boulders.”

The special honorary Opal Carlson Landscape award ribbon for the top landscape photo/painting was awarded to Gloria Dawson Teats of White Bird for “Salmon River Mountains.”
