There’s lots to do in White Bird…year-round.

Other fun, family events range from a Sausage Feed in March, to Art Shows & Sales, Chili Cook-Offs, and more. Community events and festivals occur frequently in White Bird, Idaho and in addition to the annual Festival & Parade in mid June, range from trap shoots, to Easter Egg Hunts, bike rides, a Halloween youth party, the Rebekah Turkey Dinner, and Christmas programs….there’s a lot going on in this small town in north central Idaho.

Valley Art Center Show (month of March)

SRAG (Salmon River Art Guild) has been invited to show their art at the Valley Art Center the month of March.  An opening for the show is Friday, March 1,  4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; refreshments will be provided.  The show runs from March 1 to the 30.  The SRAG will have 30 plus paintings displayed.  The VAC is located at 842 6th St., Clarkston, WA,  509.758.8331.  Hours:  Tues-Sat, 10 to 4.

Art Show & Sale “March Artisan Madness”

The Salmon River Art Guild will have their very popular March Artisan Madness Show on March 16-17, 2019, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This year is a two- day show held in the White Bird Area Recreation Building (old school).  Both rooms will be filled with artisan creations, $150 or less.  “Artisan” means you never know what you might find!  Art is not limited to only paintings.  The artists are getting more creative every year.  Come and enjoy the art and visit with the artists!!!

White Bird Community Library Bake Sale

Also at the WBARD on March 16 delicious baked goods for sale from 8-12.  The volunteers would like to thank the SRAG for “sharing” their time with us.  The library needs your support to continue being your local resource center.  Stop by the library to see the great selection of books.  Wi-Fi, 24/7.  There is a computer for public use.  Printing and copy services are also available.
